Gary Renouf

Commercial Director

Gary has been involved in the construction industry for nearly 20 years. Gary has been employed within a range of roles – from surveying and commercial management through to operations and contract management

As the Group’s Commercial Director, Gary’s responsibilities include the overall commercial management of our Group’s project portfolio. This role incorporates cost control, contract administration and purchasing.

Gary is a full member of the Institute of Demolition Engineers.

Matt Harper

ICT Director

Matt has been with Erith since 2010 and has over 25 years experience within designing and deploying complex information and communication management systems, with the last twenty years being within the construction industry.

As ICT Director, Matt leads a diverse team that is customer focused, driven and constantly seeks to improve the use of technology within the group.  His role within the business draws on knowledge from working for both large and smaller organisations within the construction industry but all with the same goal, to exceed customer expectation.


Andy Watson

Asbestos Specialist

Andy has been involved in the asbestos industry for over 33 years with the majority of his experience in the heavy industrial sector overseeing the commercial, contractual and operational delivery of a number of large scale asbestos removal schemes within the nuclear decommissioning field.

Andy’s current role at Erith utilises his industrial experience and knowledge gained whilst delivering major schemes at Sizewell, Bradwell, Hinkley, Chapelcross and most recently Dungeness Power Station.


Richard Turner

Director – Substructures

Richard has over 30 years industry experience with the majority in a site based capacity.  As Operations Director he is responsible for the day to day management of projects within the company’s substructure division ensuring works are completed within the desired programme, on budget, efficiently and to the client’s satisfaction.  Richard has project managed contracts up to £25m in value including the Olympic Park and most recently a £9m 10 storey city centre demolition with 3 storey basement substructure package.

Robert Williams

Training Director

Robert has been with the group since 2015 and has 24 years experience in the construction and demolition industry.  Robert is responsible for overseeing the delivery of training for the group’s employees as well as offering training services externally across the construction and demolition sector. Robert is a qualified instructor, examiner, tester and assessor with several industry approved schemes and awarding bodies covering a range of subjects from managing safely to heavy plant and water/confined space rescue.  Robert is also a specialist member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management.

James Hiom

SHEQ Director

James is a dedicated and proactive Health and Safety professional with over 17 years’ experience working for both the public and private sectors. James has a wide range of health and safety experience, covering: construction, demolition, strategic health and safety advice, auditing, training and currently promotes our health and safety ethos – SAFETY 24:7.

James leads our in-house Health and Safety management team and reports directly to the Board to provide advice and guidance on where to focus areas for improvement and enhance best practice.

He is also a Chartered Member of the IOSH and a Member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management.

Andrew Dale

Head of Industrial Demolition

Andrew has worked as a specialist in the decommissioning industry for more than 35 years. In that time he has provided methodologies, risk management assessments and detailed cost estimates for 100’s of major industrial decommissioning schemes. He is an active member of the NFDC – National Federation of Demolition Contractors – and is a Fellow of the Institute of Demolition Engineers. Andrew’s experience encompasses all types of projects within the industrial sector, ranging from manufacturing facilities and nuclear power stations through to oil refinery and chemical plant dismantling schemes.
