As part of the revised ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards, Erith recently underwent a transitional audit to verify our compliance to these new industry benchmarks.
We are pleased to announce that through our robust management system, pioneering campaigns and passionate workforce we have passed this audit process and are now accredited to these new industry standards.
Auditors from The British Standards Institution inspected our offices, as well as several of our worksites, to verify our operation in action. The assessors were most impressed by our site staff, who applied our Quality Management System and Environmental Management System adeptly.
With the deployment of The Safety Wheel SHEQ campaign and our participation in Sustainability initiatives, such as the upcoming WRAP Recycling Week, our development is in synergy with the key changes within these new ISO standards. This focus on leadership, communication and lifecycle thinking has resulted in Erith achieving certification within the 3-year transitional period afforded to all contractors operating under the earlier publications.
HSEQ Director James Hiom commentated: “Successfully transitioning to the new 2015 specification of ISO certification is a testament to our company’s ability to adapt and innovate within our Industry. This achievement demonstrates that our practice remains at the forefront of all legislative, regulatory, client care, environmental and socio-economic best practice within our industry.”
