Erith Haulage successfully retains FORS Gold accreditation

We have successfully retained the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Gold accreditation for a fifth consecutive year across our haulage operations.

This prestigious accreditation, known as the go-to industry benchmark forms part of our ongoing strategy for continuous improvement and confirms our commitment to ongoing exemplary levels of best practice within the haulage industry. The FORS scheme integrates with our ISO BSI 39001:2012 Road Traffic Safety management systems and has strengthened our existing policies and procedures.

The vehicle fleet is fitted with a range of additional features designed to improve the safety of both the driver and vulnerable road users, evidencing our commitment to improving road safety and the inclusion of remote download technology providing real time information on driving and tachograph data. We continue to promote the FORS Standard throughout our supply chain utilising only Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) approved subcontractors and demonstrate a meaningful improvement against baseline data gathered in year one.

Steve Martin, Managing Director commented: “We are extremely proud to continue our journey with the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme, developing our transport management systems whilst maintaining a better than best practice approach to road traffic safety and service delivery.”
