Following an extensive procurement process, Erith are proud to announce being successfully appointed as framework contractors for both Northern Gas Networks (NGN), National Grid (NG) and Grain LNG respectively.
NGN Holder Demolition
NGN provide gas to 2.7 million consumers across Northern England, with over 36,000km of utility infrastructure within their pipeline delivery system. The framework will run for an initial term until March 2021 with options to extend over three successive terms thereafter. The scope will consist of Holder Demolition and Land Remediation across NGN’s portfolio, covering a range of major cities including Leeds, York and Cumbria.
National Grid Minor Civils
NG’s minor civils framework will run for a period of four years covering two separate lots. Lot 1 consists of NG’s electrical transmission sites, including operational sites, electricity property work and interconnectors; whilst Lot 2 consists of NG’s gas facilities, including operational sites and gas property work. The scope consists of a variety of minor civils including general civils, concrete works, surfacing and enabling works. Erith were successfully appointed for the majority of regions across England and Wales.
LNG Grain Minor Civils
National Grid’s distribution network delivers gas to approximately 10.9 million consumers, with Grain LNG capable of meeting up to 20% of UK gas demand, making it the largest importation terminal in Europe. The framework will run for a period of 3 years and will encompass a range of minor civils work at Grain LNG’s Importation Terminal on the Isle of Grain in Kent.
