Erith are proud to announce that our in-house Engineering and Design team, Swanton Consulting Limited, have been shortlisted for the Temporary Works Initiative of the Year (Building) Award at the British Construction Industry Awards 2018.
Swanton have been recognised for their outstanding work at one of Erith’s prestigious projects, 33 Grosvenor Place. The scheme involves the internal demolition of the Grade II Listed building, façade retention, basement lowering, façade column extension and basement propping.
Through Swanton’s intricate design and complex engineering strategy, the demolition and construction were coordinated to run simultaneously. This ultimately resulted in significant project acceleration and reduction in steel tonnage.
The awards ceremony will take place on October 10th 2018 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
Swanton Consulting’s Director, Rob Millard, commented: “This is a superb achievement. I am delighted with the effort all the talented designers and engineers who worked on this project have put in and wish them the best of luck at the awards ceremony in October.”
