Laptops Donated to Local Communities
Published by Erith on 4 May 2021
We are proud to have been able to continue to support the local communities in which we work with the donation of laptop computers.

10 laptops have been donated to the Royal Borough of Greenwich, where we have been providing asbestos removal services for over 12 years.  The computers have been allocated to children in the borough who are in care and in need of additional support.  Nilavra Mukerji, Senior Assistant Director – Repairs and Investment, relayed the Borough’s gratitude:On behalf of the children in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, I would like to say a big thank-you for your generous donation.”

At our Ashton-under-Lyne project, a donation of 10 laptops was made to a local primary school in collaboration with the client, National Grid.

Elsewhere, the site team in Clarecastle, Ireland, arranged the donation of 8 laptops to the Tech2Students initiative which seeks to bridge the digital divide by distributing donated laptops to students in under privileged areas.  The computers will provide students in disadvantaged circumstances with the technology required to continue their education.
