Group Training Coordinator (Part Time – 26 hours per week)

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated coordinator to manage the training requirements of our staff.

As Group Training Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, organise delivery and evaluate training across the whole business ensuring that all is consistent throughout
  • Implementation of continued compliance procedures, developed and delivered through various training activities
  • Creating and maintaining records related to training and certification tracking
  • Creating monthly reports and annual summaries of activities
  • Keeping all company ‘Standard Operating Procedures’ up to date

Training Administrator (Part Time – 26 hours per week)

Erith Training Services is looking to recruit an Administrator to support the Training Delivery Team. You will providing administrative support for the Training Centre, supporting course delivery and liaison with the various schemes that ETS is accredited to provide qualifications for. Being highly organised is not enough for this role, you will be proactive and used to working in a fast paced and adaptive role where your actions are critical to the running of the business and management of our staff qualifications.

What you will need:

  • Strong organisation skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Office 365
  • Excellent Customer Service skills and a confident telephone manner
  • Experience of booking candidates onto training courses is desirable

Asbestos Technical Tender Writer

Our asbestos department are looking to recruit a technical tender writer to support the commercial team and work in conjunction with our existing Business Development Team on PQQ and Tender returns.

The role can be based in our Erith, Midlands or Scotland offices and will involve the production of technical tender/PQQ proposals in order to develop our existing client base.

This position is immediate and the role would be permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities for this role will include the following:

  • Responsible for the timely planning, management and completion of the allocated sections of PQQ & tender submissions including RAMS and programmes.
  • Planning, writing and coordinating technical responses to asbestos bids and tenders.
  • Compiling, updating and maintaining a library of company standard tender documentation and model answers.
  • Build internal and external relationships with individuals associated with the bid process in order to create quality bids.
  • Develop a creative approach to the writing and presentation of bids.
  • Reviewing all technical bid submissions for quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain a high level of market intelligence and best practice in order to create winning bids.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance and improve the process, whilst sharing best practice with the team.
  • Have a clear understanding and interpretation of the questions within the PQQ and tender documents.
  • Be able to construct relevant answers which clearly answer the client’s question and portray the company in the best possible light.
  • Ensure accuracy and up to date information is placed in all tender and PQQ documents.
  • Ensure the quality of the response meets the company standards.
  • Undertake research for the team to improve bid content.
  • Create/assist with PowerPoint presentations.
  • Provide administrative support (office and bid writing team) as required.
  • Construct flow/organisation charts to support bid proposals.
  • Develop business CV’s of project team tailored to suit prospective projects.
  • Assist with maintaining up to date case studies of recent projects.

Accounts Office – Sales Ledger Clerk

Team Purpose
The sales ledger team are responsible for the accurate and timely production of invoices for all Erith Group Companies.

Main Duties & Responsibilities: –

  • Accurate and timely production of both weekly and monthly invoices for all Erith Group Companies.
  • Liaise with internal departments and assist in gathering invoice data on a timely basis.
  • Respond and resolve any invoice related queries by email and telephone.
  • Scanning of invoices and back-up documentation into the Accounts System.
  • Issue statements on a timely basis at agreed intervals.

Skills to include:-

  • Previous Accounts Office experience in a Sales Ledger role would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Confident and polite telephone manner.
  • Good Team Player, pro-active and reliable.
  • Experience of Microsoft office, including Outlook.

Office Administrator

Our Plant Services Division are looking to recruit an Office Administrator to provide support to the Management and Operational Teams.

The role will be based at our Eastern Quarry site offices, near Ebbsfleet, Kent and will involve the handling of the general administrative tasks within the office

The position is immediate, and the role would be permanent for the right candidate

Responsibilities for the role include the following:

  • Reviewing training schedules, booking the relevant training and updating the schedules in a timely manner
  • Collating operator timesheets ready for weekly submission to payroll
  • Accurate processing of holiday requests and records
  • Assisting the hire desk with any invoice queries from the Accounts Department
  • Speaking with suppliers in regards to invoice queries
