In recognition of National Apprenticeship Week, Erith are proud to continue supporting the NDTG Demolition Trailblazer Apprenticeship Scheme.
Erith’s apprentice, Mahmoud Gimae, is now six months into his two-year Demolition Apprenticeship which will see him gain the skills required to become part of the next generation of Demolition Engineers. The Demolition Trailblazer provides apprentices with £18,000 of dedicated offsite demolition training through the NDTG and London South East Colleges bolstered by valuable onsite training and experience.
Of the Apprenticeship, Mahmoud commented: “I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the demolition apprenticeship. It’s been an incredibly insightful experience that has provided me with valuable hands-on training and exposure to various aspects of the field. I’ve already learned so much and am excited to continue growing in this role. I have recently received my CLOCS Traffic Marshal training and I’m currently assisting the marshals in their daily tasks whilst understanding construction logistics on a busy inner-London site.”
