The rigorous shortlisting and judging process involved the written submission and presentation of detailed evidence showcasing our impressive projects carried out throughout 2019 including the demolition and basement construction at 22 Hanover Square, the bulk asbestos removal, demolition and cleaning at Bradwell Nuclear Power Station, the demolition of the Royal Mail sorting office at Paddington Square and enabling works at One Sherwood Street.
In addition to recognising the challenging projects successfully carried out across the UK, the judges were won over by the company’s structure and values with particular note to the training facilities and opportunities provided to staff through Erith Training Services, the “family-feel” that continues to be displayed throughout the company and its operation as an “employee-owned trust”.
The judges commented: “The impressive employee ownership model displays an industry-leading approach. Erith has a clear vision and strategy and an excellent approach to training and promoting the demolition degree course.”
David Darsey commented: “We are delighted to have been recognised for our continued investment into our people and our projects. This is a fantastic accolade to add to our achievements this year and a testament to our employees who continue to deliver consistently high standards.”
