We are delighted to have been presented with three City of London Considerate Contractor Gold Awards at Friday’s ceremony, recognising outstanding achievements at 120 Fleet Street, 14-21 Holborn Viaduct and Seal House.
The City of London’s Considerate Contractor Scheme challenges contractors to strive for the best standards in the industry, awarding those that consistently perform to the highest levels with an industry respected Gold Award and ensuring that general standards of work are raised.
The scores are collated quarterly and judged annually and include public feedback. The judging panel carries out annual site inspections alongside the regular monitoring by City of London Highways Officers. The five principles used for scoring are:
Safety – contractors must attain the highest levels of health and safety possible
Planning – best practice must be demonstrated with client and design team engaged
Liaison – engagement with key stakeholders before and throughout the project
Site Environment – protection and enhancement of the areas surrounding site
Cleanliness – sites must be professional in appearance and well managed.
David Moylan, Director commented: “We are proud to have received these awards acknowledging our continued commitment to delivering works to a better than best practice standard. To be recognised by the City of London for three projects is a fantastic achievement. Well done to everyone involved.”
